Lil Boosie Tied To String Of As Many As Six Murders. Including Rapper Nussie
June 19, 2010 — BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie was transported to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison Friday morning after being indicted for murder Thursday afternoon.

Lil Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was taken from the Hunt Correctional Institute in St. Gabriel to the Louisiana State Police Headquarters in Baton Rouge.

He was incarcerated at Hunt on drug and gun charges.

He was processed and sent to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Hatch, 27, was indicted for first-degree murder in the shooting death of Terry Boyd.

The district attorney previously stated the death penalty is a possibility if Hatch is convicted of first-degree murder.

He was also indicted on drug charges Thursday.

He faces three counts of possession with intent to distribute codeine, ecstacy and marijuana.

He was also indicted on three counts of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to distribute narcotics and two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution.
